Paint From Your Soul

Ever feel like you've lost yourself?

One woman who went through Paint From Your Soul told us about a season just like that — her kids had just gone off to college, and she found herself sitting on the couch staring at the wall, feeling sad, lonely, and strangely numb. There was this heavy, thousand-pound weight sitting on her. She had no idea who she was, or what she was going to do with her life now.

Every change in a woman's life — kids growing up, a body that feels unfamiliar, a career winding down — carries a grief nobody really talks about. And so much of it, we carry alone.

That's exactly the space this program was built for.

Why This Works

Talk therapy asks you to explain yourself. This asks you to paint her. 🎨

Most self-help asks you to think your way to clarity. Paint From Your Soul works differently: you build a painting around a feminine archetype and let the process surface what words alone can't reach.

"They're human thought forms, impressions of our values, beliefs, and collective wisdom, changing, morphing, dying, splintering as our knowledge, culture, and ideals change. They're made by us, from us, so they must evolve as we do to reflect us as we are. An archetype that doesn't evolve isn't an archetype; it's a relic."
— Charlie Claire Burgess
01
Express emotion onto canvas
Not to make "good art" — to get out of your head and let feeling move through your hands.
02
Set the mood of your piece
Color and texture choices become a language for what's underneath the surface.
03
Choose your feminine archetype
We'll work with four of them — each one asking to be reclaimed.
04
Sit with "Who am I now?"
The question underneath every transition. We don't rush past it — we paint through it.
05
Call in Divine Feminine wisdom
A grounded, intuitive way of knowing that doesn't need to be justified with logic.
06
Build soul community
A small group of women doing this work alongside you, live, every week.

Put together, these six moves aren't really about painting technique — they're about who you get to be on the other side. And slow, repetitive, hands-on work like this is genuinely regulating for your nervous system — it builds your capacity to hold a little more mystery in your life, instead of needing every answer right away. You'll never need the whole picture before you begin — just the next step. That's the whole practice.

Archetypes

Which one is calling you? 💫

Archetypes are models of behavior and virtue we see repeated throughout art, literature, and culture. As a group, we'll explore four core feminine archetypes — and each of you will choose one to work with more deeply and paint into being.

"You know them already: the warrior, the maiden, the trickster, the witch. The gym bro, the diva, the gay best friend, the rebel... For better or worse, these characters are projections of ourselves, our cultural values, and our psychology coalesced into human shapes, which means they can tell us a lot about how and why we think the way we do."
— Charlie Claire Burgess

Which four we work with — and which one is yours — is part of what you'll discover inside.

"My first thought was to decline when I got the invite because it felt too scary and time consuming, but I'm so glad I did it. It was so good to connect with that part of me." 💛
— Christine, Program Participant
"Taking this class was very impactful for me because I don't see myself as an artist. I felt completely supported and seen. Her energy is calm and encouraging and I'm still carrying the High Priestess with me!!"
— PFYS participant
"I enjoyed the process and stepping outside of my usual painting zone. Working through my frustrations along the way was an important part of letting my archetype emerge."
— PFYS participant
More Voices From The Circle

"Michelle cultivated an environment of trust, compassion and witnessing our process. I highly recommend diving into this magical, transformative work." — PFYS participant
"In the process of painting I had to face a lot of fear and my tendency to hesitate. It was interesting to watch my own unfolding — allowing myself to listen to my own inner voice." — PFYS participant
"It was fun to paint in a group that was supportive, and I loved listening to the insights they shared about their journeys inward." — PFYS participant

Common Questions

Before you join the waitlist

"I'm not an artist — will I be totally lost?"

No painting experience required. One participant said it herself: "I don't see myself as an artist," and still walked away with a piece she now keeps on her altar. This isn't an art class — it's a self-discovery process that happens to use paint. And here's the real secret: the worst thing that can happen is you won't like it. That's it. Nothing to get right, nothing to ruin.

"Can I really open up on a group Zoom call?"

It's a small, intentional group — not a webinar. Several women say the hardest part was clicking "join" the first time, and the community became one of the best parts of the experience.

"Is this too 'woo' for me? I'm more skeptical/practical."

Fair question. Strip away the language and it's a structured creative practice: a prompt, a process, and reflection time — alongside real people who felt exactly this skeptical going in. What you take from it doesn't require believing in anything beyond your own experience.

"Is this only for women?"

This program centers Divine Feminine archetypes — and everyone carries feminine energy inside them, regardless of gender. All genders are welcome here.

"What supplies do I need?"
  • 16x20 blank canvas or canvas board
  • Basic set of acrylic paints: primary red, primary yellow, primary blue, black, titanium white, and raw sienna (optional: green and other blues)
  • Brushes in small, medium, and large. These shapes make it easier to shape things: 1 medium angle brush, 1 small square brush, and 1 small round brush (optional: a larger brush or other shapes and sizes you like)
  • Plastic fork, jar for water, and a rag (washcloth-sized, for slap painting)
  • 1 piece of chalk, for drawing on the canvas
  • 1 or more old broken brushes for vigorous dry brushing and texture (or a stiff new brush)
  • Paper towels, and sponges if you like, for texture
  • Sketch paper and a pencil (nothing fancy)
  • Drop cloth to protect your floor from paint (unless you don't need it)
"What if I miss a week?"

All classes are recorded, so if life happens and you miss one, you won't miss the material. That said — if you know your schedule genuinely won't allow you to make most weeks live, it's better to wait for a cohort that fits, since being together live each week is part of the experience.

"Why a waitlist instead of just picking a date?"

So the time actually works for the people joining. Once you're on the waitlist, you'll get a short survey to help find a day and time that fits the group. Your $197 waitlist price is locked in no matter which date we land on.

Six weeks from now, who will you have become? ✨
